This counts all apps running on the on the AppBurst mobile platform which at the time of this writing is 50 apps. The types of apps included in these downloads range from iPhone apps for conferences to interactive game guides to apps that let users watch live camera streams.

Commenting the one million download milestone, AppBurst co-founder Mike Haldas says, “This is a huge achievement for our company and shows that AppBurst has the infrastructure and technical knowledge to scale our platform to support our customers. We are actually announcing milestone this a little late. Our actual download count is 1,115,330 as of yesterday and we expect our daily download volume to increase even more now that we are also developing apps for the iPad and releasing new apps on a monthly and sometimes weekly schedule.”

AppBurst, a mobile app development company, has released a new iPad app for the AIA 2011 National Conference taking place in New Orleans from May 12–14 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.  The mobile app makes the complete conference available not only on iPad, but also iPhone, Android and any smart phone that has a web browser.  Users can browse the schedule of events, look up exhibitors via listing or interactive floor plan map, and find surrounding accommodations such as shopping, restaurants, and night club.
