Multi-Language Support Added to AppBurst Mobile Apps

With the addition of multi-language support, AppBurst-developed mobile applications are now fully capable of reaching a global audience -- giving clients the ability to greatly enhance their brand and take advantage of an expanded user base around the world. The new feature -- available for iPhone, iPad, and Android apps -- will automatically detect the device's native langauge and load the proper version of the app. Alternatively, a user may select his or her preferred langage from the setting areas of the specific app, overriding the device's default option to give users a rich set of language choices.

On the development side, AppBurst will provide clients with an English-language template to be used for the translation process. Alternative languages can then be entered via a native speaker or translator such as Google Translate. AppBurst Transitions to Windows Azure for Mobile Application Content Delivery

With servers on both coasts of the United State and in Europe, users of AppBurst-developed mobile apps will experience enhanced content delivery via a system of servers placed at strategic locales around the world.

The global could service from Windows provides an extremely reliable method to deliver app content, as copies of data are stored at various points in the cloud -- helping mitigate potential problems caused by a server outage or other technical issues. Instead of a single server providing data to every user, information is stored on twenty four regionally-placed, physical nodes, which are used to send data to the end user based on his or her geographic locale. AppBurst Releases Dashboard Admin System for Content Management

AppBurst Passes One Million iPhone App Downloads

AppBurst iPhone Apps Surpass 100,000 Downloads in Under 60 Days

AppBurst, an iPhone application development company, today announced that the first four apps that Appburst has developed have cumulatively been downloaded over 100,000 times from the Apple app store in under 60 days.<.p>

The four apps consist of the iCamViewer, LoL Library, WFO Radio, and UFC Fan. WFO radio and UFC fan were released just a few weeks ago. The first AppBurst app, iCamViewer, has been downloaded over 50,000 times.

The application is planned to be free at this time and is intended to allow users to configure and view multiple IP or CCTV cameras from the app without the use of any DVR or recording device. This app is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2010.

The second app will be designed to connect to CCTV Camera Pros newest H.264 stand alone surveillance DVR, the iDVR. The name of this application will be iDVRviewer and will allow users to connect to their 4, 8, or 16 channel DVR to view their CCTV cameras live from their iPhone.
