CIRSE 2011, Europe's largest and most comprehensive conference for minimally invasive image-guided therapy, will take place in Munich from 10-14 September 2011. The annual event focuses on education and research in interventional radiology. Medical specialists in over 80 countries are represented at the conference, which enables attendees to use new technology and improve the overall level of interventional radiology care to patients around the world.
The CIRSE 2011 mobile app developed by AppBurst provides a native iPhone and iPad app for attendees, speakers, and sponsors to access information about the conference. In addition, a mobile website has been enabled for users of Android, Blackberry, and other non-iOS smart phones. The mobile application will offer over 200 hours of educational and scientific content streamlined around seven major topics. Choose from a variety of special sessions, interactive case discussions, hands-on workshops, foundation courses, learning centers, industry symposia and an all-electronic poster exhibition.
CIRSE stands for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe. The non-profit association aims to improve patient care in the field of cardiovascular and interventional radiology by promoting the exchange of ideas through its support of academia, science, and research.
