AppBurst Launches iPad Conference App for AIA 2011 National Convention

Posted by Mike Haldas on May 13, 2010

AppBurst, a mobile app development company, has released a new iPad app for the AIA 2011 National Conference taking place in New Orleans from May 12–14 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The mobile app makes the complete conference available not only on iPad, but also iPhone, Android and any smart phone that has a web browser. Users can browse the schedule of events, look up exhibitors via listing or interactive floor plan map, and find surrounding accommodations such as shopping, restaurants, and night club.

Commenting on the AIA conference app, AppBurst co-founders Mike Haldas says, "We are very excited about the new iPad conference platform that we have developed. We have developed iPhone apps for other conferences already but this is the first that AppBurst is providing a native iPad, iPhone, and Android app for.  It is safe to say that AppBurst officially has a mobile conference app platform. We are getting better and better at providing high end interactive features that conference managers and marketing teams want to see in a mobile app solution. I believe that we have the best interactive floor plan map feature available. Our development team worked some long hours to make this feature in time for the convention and everyone at AppBurst is extremely proud of the results. We look forward to providing conference apps for iPad and iPhone for many events in the years to come."
