The 33rd Annual Weekend Retreat—hosted at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs from May 12th to 14th—is a combination of social events and educational programs hosted by the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida. The event focuses on interactive group discussions using reference materials found in the mobile application.
Users of the BBA Retreat mobile app enjoy access to hundreds of pages of problem sets with related court cases. Materials may be bookmarked, sent to an in-app notepad, and shared via email, Facebook or Twitter. Other highlights include a participant list, resort guide, sponsors, and updated organizational news.
The mobile event app also provides information on BBA-sponsored events around the year and serves as a resource to organizational news and happenings. Content is showcased in an icon-based homepage design to give users easy access to the most important material.
Established in 1980, the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida is a voluntary association with hundreds of members in the South Florida area aiming to assist lawyers, judges and the public involved the bankruptcy system.
